We stand behind the products we sell and the installers we work with. Our flooring products and installation services meet or exceed industry standards.

All flooring products carry manufacturer warranties, which may cover wear, stain resistance, and flame retardancy depending on the product. Ask your sales rep for details specific to what you’re buying.

Installation is performed by independent contractors. We do our best to work with installers who stand behind their work, but we are not responsible for their conduct or performance.

 

DISPUTES

If this agreement ends up in litigation, the non-prevailing party agrees to pay the other party’s reasonable attorney fees and court costs.

 

TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SALE

Seller agrees to sell and deliver, and Buyer agrees to purchase and accept, the merchandise described in this agreement. Title to all products remains with The Floor Trader Outlet of Chambersburg until paid in full.

Cancellations & Refunds

• Deposits on special orders or cut materials are non-refundable.

• Orders canceled before installation will be refunded minus 40% to cover restocking, measuring, and freight.

• Cabinet and countertop orders cannot be canceled or refunded once placed.

 

Payments & Collections

• Payment is due Cash on Delivery unless otherwise agreed to in writing.

• Unpaid balances accrue a 1.5% monthly finance charge (18% annually) from the date of delivery.

• Buyer is responsible for any collection costs, including attorney fees.

 

Delivery, Installation & Liability

• We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our control, such as strikes or material shortages.

• We are not liable for consequential damages.

• If quantities are based on measurements or plans provided by the Buyer, we are not responsible for material shortages that result.

• If you have a concern, you must give us the opportunity to inspect and address it. Refusing to do so waives your right to make a claim.

 

Product & Installation Notes

• All materials are subject to normal dye lot variation.

• Door trimming for carpet clearance is not included in labor.

• We are not responsible for damage to shoe molding during removal or replacement.

• Rug sizes are approximate.

• We are not responsible for issues caused by improper humidity, inadequate heat, or radiant floor systems.

 

Entire Agreement

This document is the complete agreement between Buyer and Seller. Changes must be in writing and signed by both parties.

 

Large Orders

Orders over $10,000 and all cabinet orders may require a special payment arrangement.

 

BUYER’S RIGHT TO CANCEL

You have three (3) business days from the date of purchase to cancel this transaction without penalty.

If you cancel:

• All payments and traded property will be returned within ten (10) business days of receiving your cancellation notice.

• Any security interest created by the transaction will be released.

 

You must make any delivered goods available in substantially the same condition as received — either at your home or by returning them per our instructions (at your expense and risk).

If we haven’t retrieved the goods within twenty (20) days of your cancellation notice, you may keep or dispose of them with no further obligation.

To cancel, deliver a signed and dated cancellation notice to The Floor Trader Outlet of Chambersburg no later than midnight on the third business day after your purchase.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
